A Note to the Parents!!
Parents, time for your homework..... don't send your precious child out in the city or parks with someone who is not a professional! They are ducking into abandoned buildings and changing in the open or their car. Make sure you are sending your child to a studio, they should be able to accept your credit card, and have a private area for your student to change. I see non professionals meeting young gals all the time around town and have come across a few in the middle of a clothing change in public places. Because they have a website does not mean they have a studio, drive by prior to their appointment and make sure you are sending your child to a reputable place.

Facebook Foto For the Five Fallen Families of the Police Department!

Come to the studio between 10-4 Thursday Dec 10 Donate $20 for your individual Facebook photograph~ All proceeds will go to the 11 kids and 4 spouses of the 5 officers killed recently. My goal is 50 people to raise $1000 for these families. Come on Ta...coma we can do this, most of you need a better profile picture, if you are in business it is a write off. Replace that tacky 13yr old business photo on your website, all for a great cause. No appointment necessary, drop with your $20 cash or check to the Fallen Lakewood Officers Fund 100% goes to the families. Pass this on to your friends, it is this Thursday, Dec 10 from 10-4 625 Commerce Street suite 101 Easy to find, just off the Stadium way Exit. Plenty of parking! www.photographybytrina.com

Love those Sounders!

Oh you gotta love those Sounders! This is our new favorite family past time, what a great way to spend a day,if you haven't been you really should. My daughter who is 10, plays soccer for Wa Premier, loves to piant the hair and put all her Sounders gear. We were lucky enough to meet a few of the players and get Kam's jersey signed. I tired to chat them up but they didn't understand a word I said....

Chihuly at Wright Park Conservatory~STUNNING

Recently I photographed a wedding for the sweetest couple at the conservatory in Wright Park. As luck would have it they had a Chihuly installation that was just amazing. If you have not seen it you MUST GO, the conservatory is beautiful on it's own but right now it is sooo worth the $5 donation. My preference is right before it gets dark but I believe it closes at 5pm.

We Have Moved!!!

I’ve always loved the Fall, with its vivid colors, rich smells and ever present air of change. I can’t think of a better time of year to have relocated our studio to its new home in the Old Clock Tower. I’m excited to be moving into another of Tacoma’s historic buildings (our old studio at 711 Court A had once been the site of Tacoma’s trolley station in the 1890’s). We enjoyed our three years at the old location, watching the neighborhood undergo an exciting revitalization. We needed a larger location, but couldn’t bear the idea of moving out of the neighborhood we’d grown to love. We couldn’t believe it when a great street-level space opened up in the Old Clock Tower, a couple short blocks NW of our old studio. Our new locale had once been the home to the Tacoma Bar and Grill and more recently, the floor model for the luxury condominiums that were to have been part of The Renaissance at Old City Hall.Moving has been an arduous endeavor (to say the least). What started as an empty brick shell has been transformed into a studio we're proud to call our new home. I can't tell you how moved I felt the first night I turned on the lights of the new studio, walked across its vastness and looked out the window into a bustling Commencement Bay. Tacoma is a beautiful city and we're happy to be a part of it.
